When it comes to men’s style, it’s often the little details that make the biggest impression. From the scent you wear to the accessories you choose, these touches can say a lot before you even speak. Dior’s Front Row: The Highlights of Paris Fashion Week Men’s 2026

While January often feels like the longest month of the year—as if we’ve somehow reached the 60th day already—there is plenty to love about it. Most notably, it marks the arrival of a fresh era in fashion with the start of the international Fashion Weeks. Paris Fashion Week Men's took centre stage from January 20th to 25th, and as we speak, the Spring 2026 Couture Week is set to follow between
January 26th and 29th.

As Amanda Krause aptly noted for Business Insider: “Naturally, some of the most eye-catching looks so far haven’t been spotted on the runway. Instead, they’re being worn by celebrities in the audience.” I’ve scoured the internet and curated the looks that truly caught my eye.

Interestingly, my top picks this season all happen to be guests from the Dior show

Robert Pattinson

My favourite former vampire, Robert Pattinson, opted for an understated yet stylish ensemble from Dior. While I personally loved the relaxed, casual vibe—particularly the pairing of a classic tweed blazer over a red-checked button-up shirt—I found myself agreeing with Krause’s critique. It was a solid look, but I can’t help but think he would have looked even sharper in a pair of tailored black trousers and dress shoes rather than denim jeans. It is the Dior show, after all!

Joe Alwyn

Joe Alwyn, on the other hand, looked incredibly dapper in classic Dior tailoring. What really elevated this look for me were the finer details: that statement monogram belt and those impeccable leather shoes! I’m also a huge fan of the grey peacoat he chose — it’s a masterclass in timeless winter style.

Jamie Dornan

Jamie Dornan’s look is a total 'Marmite' moment; you either love it or you hate it. He’s opted for a rather dramatically cut cotton trench coat from Jonathan Anderson, which drapes almost like a cape. This bold silhouette contrasts nicely with the dark denim and brown suede shoes he’s wearing underneath. Some might get "Paddington Bear" vibes, but I reckon this is brilliant, boundary-pushing luxury outerwear from Dior.

Lewis Hamilton

F1 star Sir Lewis Hamilton arrived with serious "heir-apparent energy". He’s gone for a sharp, double-breasted tailcoat-style jacket with a subtle fur trim — a nod to the collection's Tolstoy-chic aesthetic. He paired this statement piece with incredibly wide-leg, tailored trousers and shiny patent leather lace-ups. It might be too much volume for some, but it absolutely shows his knack for pushing boundaries and taking risks that ultimately pay off.

Paul Hameline

Ah, Paul Hameline—model-turned-guest—really nailed the theatrical brief in this military-style coat. It’s got an almost 18th-century, Napoleonic vibe with all those gold buttons and contrast piping. He smartly grounded that inherently dramatic look with simple dark trousers and some chunky brown trainers, preventing it from looking like a costume and keeping it firmly in the realm of high fashion.

Yung Lean

Swedish rapper Yung Lean absolutely understood the assignment. I’m obsessed with this coat—it’s a seriously cool piece of luxury outerwear. It's incredibly voluminous, and while I usually prefer a sharper, tailored look on men, he has genuinely carried this off beautifully. The dramatic length and bold herringbone make an instant statement. He’s styled it perfectly with that mint-green and white striped tie, adding a playful pop of colour. This is how you do effortless, avant-garde style.

BEST-DRESSED MEN AT THE 2026 GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS

The Golden Globes, BAFTAs, Met Gala, Oscars — I love these events because they encourage men to take sartorial risks they might not otherwise consider. They are no longer just about walking alongside their partners in a simple suit and watch, quietly stepping back while someone else shines on magazine covers.

In recent years, men have become far more confident in expressing their personal style on the red carpet. The 83rd Golden Globes, in particular, stood out as an event where we saw a noticeable number of men who had clearly put real thought into what they wore and how they presented themselves.

As awards season unfolds with its predictions realised, surprise wins and inevitable disappointments, one thing is guaranteed: the red carpet will deliver. With so many of Hollywood’s best-dressed men nominated in major categories, their presence — and their outfits — feels almost assured. Timothée Chalamet, Adam Brody, Jacob Elordi, Michael B. Jordan, Jeremy Allen White, Leonardo DiCaprio, Oscar Isaac, and Paul Mescal are all set to bring their A-game.

Beyond the Golden Globes themselves, it’s time to hand out our own red carpet awards — celebrating the men who truly won us over with their style.

1. Adam Brody in Valentino and tinted glasses

His complete red-carpet look featured a Valentino Spring 2026 suit, Allen Edmonds shoes, and a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch. Choosing not to go all-black immediately earned him points in my book. The soft grey tailoring feels like a contemporary update, striking a balance between classic and modern. The tinted glasses, rather than harsh black sunglasses, complete the look effortlessly.

2. Jacob Elordi in Bottega Veneta and Cartier

Clean lines, sharp tailoring, and a quietly serious attitude. Elordi proves that even a standard all-black outfit can command attention — strong styling and tinted glasses do the heavy lifting.

3. Damson Idris in Prada

Prada ambassador and F1 star Damson Idris stole the spotlight in a sleek black three-piece tuxedo, elevated by a mint poplin shirt for an unexpected pop of colour. Classic black Prada lace-ups kept it grounded, while a few pieces from his own Didris jewellery line — debuted in spring 2025 — added a personal touch. Red carpet ready, with a wink.

4. Hudson Williams in Giorgio Armani and Christian Louboutin

Flashing a golden Bulgari necklace and a perfectly paired watch, Hudson exudes effortless swagger and sex appeal. The slouchy trousers are back for men, and we’re here for it — perhaps a slightly more tailored fit would have elevated the look even further. Still, this outfit oozes charm.

Now, moving on to the rest.

I adore Timothée Chalamet, but his outfit at the 86th Golden Globes — especially those boots — didn’t quite deliver the red carpet magic. Even the necklace couldn’t save it. Sorry, Timothée.

Paul Mescal looked sharp, but once again, it feels like not enough thought went into the outfit.

And then there’s Omar Apollo. Personally, the fabric choice doesn’t do him any favours.
